M6. Network Security Fundamentals

This unit aims to explain the Network Security Fundamentals in the frame of SMEs. Students will understand and be able to articulate the value of network security for SMEs in the digital era after completing this unit. The challenges that SMEs can have when implementing network security measures, the threats that SMEs will be shielded from by network security, and the points that SMEs need to be aware of while adopting preventative measures in this area will all be covered. In addition, this course will show students how SMEs may include network security into their business planning and how it can help the firm in order to encourage them to take action on the matter.

Aim: Upon completing this learning unit, the learner will be able to understand the importance of network security for SMEs, explain which actions can be taken by companies in this regard, and express how SME personnel can take an active role in SMEs that want to operate in this regard.
